What Each State Is Most Thankful For

Last week, you probably spent some time thinking about all the things you are thankful to have in your life. You may even have posted those thoughts to Facebook.

Turns out, a lot of people posted such thoughts online. Facebook took those posts and analyzed it to come up with some really interesting lists of what people are most thankful for.

One thing that really caught my attention was the breakdown of what each state is most thankful for. The many things people have to be thankful for really varies across the country.

Some states were thankful for things that are common, such as rainbows in Hawaii and country music in Wyoming. Other states were thankful for things that are uncommon, such as rain in Arizona.

Some states were thankful for feelings, such as the ability to love or laugh. Other states were thankful for physical things like their apartment or electricity.

Quite a few states were thankful for location, like living near the beach or the ocean. And many states were thankful for religion, appreciating God’s forgiveness or salvation.

Two states were thankful for the exact same thing, they just called it by two different names, fall and autumn.

The collection of  different answers is pretty cool. I especially like the answer of children’s laughter. I never would have expected it from Alaska. I thought they’d pick something heat related.

Check out the map below and see what your state is most thankful for!
